Overview
Fictionaire respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on or through Fictionaire infringes your copyright, please send a notice containing the following information to our Designated Agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest;
- A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
- A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the site, with enough detail that we may find it;
- Your address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
Repeat Infringers
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, Fictionaire has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the site and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Good Faith
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability. Please also note that the information provided in a DMCA notice or counter-notification may be forwarded to the person who provided the allegedly infringing content.
Modifications
Fictionaire reserves the right to modify, alter, or update this DMCA Policy at any time. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
